Scope lesson ( using your new scope) via Zoom

A Zoom consultation is a telescope lesson at your telescope.

I will show you how to.

• Evaluate the Mechanics : Mount, Focuser,  perform a vibration test. Check RA Drive / Dec drive or Computer Drive
• Evaluate Optics: check for damage, Check for mold ,  perform a finder scope alignment.
• Prep to view or use a Camera.

Zoom Consultation: for repair or instruction are 30 min and are 75.00

Telescope Evaluation

Even if you have purchased your scope from another dealer, eBay or yard sale etc, we can help you get to know your new scope. We have hand ground lens, mirrors and built telescopes since 1985 with over 30 years experience in the optics and computer field. We will form a plan that will get you up and running and teach you the basis of your computerized system.

Our scope lesson program does the following:

• Inspect the telescope mechanically
• Inspect the optics and check alignment
• Inspect and tests the computer system
• Teach you how to use the hand controller, perform a two or three star alignment .
• Tests computer control connections
• You will receive our famous magnification matrix
• Basic instructions on telescope types
• Information on local clubs and events

If collimation ( OPTICAL ALIGNMENT) is required THE FEE WILL BE EXTRA .
