The Astronomy Shoppe is an independently owned business located in Plaistow Village, only 35 minutes north of Boston, MA, and we are proud to have been serving New England for over 15 years.

Restoration:
We repair Meade, Celestron, Orion and Televue. We refurbish antique scopes such as: Clark, Cave, Fecker, Brashear and Unitron.
Electronic Repair: Meade LX50, LX200 and ETX series service.
Binoculars: Collimation, and Cleaning .
We manufacture over 20 custom accessories for Telescopes, and Binoculars and have won awards in Sky and telescope and Astronomy magazines for product of the years 2007, 2011, 2013.
Our telescopes are not off the shelf – as are mail-order telescopes. You won’t have to worry about missing parts, misaligned optics or inferior quality. We have discovered that most mail order instruments are factory seconds, passed inspection with very poor optics and often have missing parts.
We personally inspect, assemble, and test all of our instruments!
Instruction:
We offer instruction and complete packages with everything you will need to start off right. Perfect for beginners.
Anthony Costanzo has been a teacher for over 35 years and formally taught the Nations Standard A+ Certification test for Lincoln technical Schools. Formally a senior Technician for Inacom information systems Mr. Costanzo holds over 53 hardware certification for the repair of laptops, desktops and laser printers form from Compaq, HP, Apple, IBM, Mr. Costanzo is also an Apple and Microsoft certified and A+Certified Professional .
In the Field of Astronomy:
Mr. Costanzo has won four awards for his original products from Astronomy and Sky and Telescope and was featured in Telescope Making Magazine for demonstrating the art of chemically silvering mirrors. Mr Costanzo has also won several awards for telescope making at the Stellafane Convention and has been a member of the Springfield Telescope Makers since 1990.
