 Astronomical telescopes will turn the image upside down and reverse . For terrestrial viewing you need special diagonal to correct the image, this can olny be done on a refractor or compound scope.  

Spoting Scopes are for terriestrial use and form a correct image view, they do not make good astronomical scopes.

I go through every telescope that comes in. They are cleaned, repaired, optically aligned and tested both optically and mechanically. We have new good-used telescopes every week.

Returns: All newer used telescopes carry a 30 day warranty.**and an upgrade policy. does not apply to antiques

*Warranty is for products that are (defective only )and will be repaired or replaced. Shipping is NOT included these are in shope purchases ,(Pick up Only,) There are no returns for purchased items that are not defective, but we have and Upgrade Policy.
*Warranty covers mechanical; electronic and optical. It does not cover vintage /antique scopes with normal wear and tear. (ie, scratches. All vintage scope shipped will be insured UPS. but I Prefer local pick-up.

** If you purchase a used scope and want to upgrade to a larger more expensive instrument, you can return the scope in 15 days for full credit on and upgrade scope. 

CONDITIONS

Fair: Optical  ( Normally coating issues) paint may be chipped. Wood?metal tripods have blems and dents. 

Good : Optic Clean, Mechanical normal wear and tear, some scratches from handling wood cases show wear( most common with Antiques)

Very Good: Optics clean ( no evidence of mold or coating blems) Mechanics Minimal scratches, NO UV Damage. or coloration Mechanics, Mount and  drives work perfectly .

Excellent: Optics untouched , paint in near perfect condition. mechanic no evidence of wear on gears, Motors track flawlessly, wood tripod near new. 

Pristine: Brand New or Collectors Piece. New showroom condition , no blems no scratches, mechanically and optical perfect.
